Hello, my name is Stephanie Reimund. I am originally from Northwest Ohio, where I lived all of my life until moving down to Florida six years ago. In Ohio, I was an Activity Director for a skilled nursing home for over eight years. Following that, I took on the position of Activity Director for an ALF for another eight years.

I have been here at Cypress Palms for almost three years and now, after being in this field for almost 20 years, I find that I have even more enthusiasm than I did in the very beginning! I look forward each morning to coming to Cypress Palms. Our ALF is VERY upbeat and innovative, and the residents and staff are a joy to be around!

When I am not at Cypress Palms I enjoy sailing, snorkeling, biking and just recently became a certified scuba diver. At home I enjoy playing Scrabble on the internet and reading. “Home” also includes a Guinea Pig named Lucy, a cat named Emily, and my partner in crime (and my favorite Cypress volunteer) John. In a few months, I will also be answering to a new name, Grandma!
