I hail from a small town in North Carolina. In 1991, I began my nursing career as a CNA and worked in a long-term care facility for 5 years. While working there, I became a licensed practical nurse in 1994. I remained with that company for 12 years until moving to Panama City, Florida in 2005. In 2008, I moved to Largo, and in 2009 I found Cypress Palms.

I started with Cypress Palms as a float nurse, and accepted a permanent position on the second floor. In August of 2009, I was promoted to Assistant Director of Wellness Services.

I have one daughter, one son, and four grandchildren.
